Hand crafted of US sourced leather and reclaimed wood paneling, dyed and polished by hand for long wear and timeless looks.
Look I’m just proud of these things, ok?
My friend who runs Workshop of the Gods, check him out on Instagram and Facebook both, introduced me to the design. It’s sturdy, it’s classy, and there’s all manner of room for customization.
Each of these wood sided leather cases is plenty large enough to hold a cell phone, wallet, keys, and a few other trinkets with room to rattle. Keep all your modern bits nearby without jarring the rest of your carefully crafted look.
As always, if you are looking for custom colors, let me know. Custom work is my favorite!
This post is picture heavy and contains content of an adult nature.
Sooner or later if you work in leather, someone will ask you if you make some very specific items.
The answer, enthusiastically, is yes.
See, I just want people to have fun.
And when they approach me asking if I will make a custom size, or a custom color, I am absolutely all about it.
If you’re under 18 or easily offended, this isn’t the blog post for you. Bye.
Now, in all honesty, I enjoy the classic black and silver kink and fetish look just as much as the next guy. It’s timeless. It’s a classic for a reason.
But y’all know leather dye comes in… all sorts of colors, right?
Red and black isn’t too unusual. It’s another form of the classic and yes, it just plain looks good. As of this posting, this choker (it’s a choker, not a collar, I have an ENTIRE rant about that…) is still available.
So is this one. If you follow me on Instagram (and you should, it’s definitely the most active of all of my sites) then you’ve already seen this one being modeled so don’t act shocked.
But what if I told you that black and red and silver weren’t the only options.
Hey Z do you make anything other than chokers?
Funny you should ask.
Here are some process pics of a current custom build and yes, I will have finished pictures of this one just as soon as I possibly can.
I also make body chains and restraints.
The classic aesthetic is for a reason. It’s good stuff. It’s also not the only option. What can I build for you? Scale stamped scarlet for a dragon? Blue and gold for your favorite peacock? Royal purple? Decadent gold chains?
Everyone deserves to have fun, and look good doing it.
I seem to recall promising a post dedicated to the “I can’t believe I’m building this” armor. You know, that weird nerdy stuff that makes people make jokes about tossing coins?
It’s finished and my lovely friend and enabler came over to help me photograph it in all its glory. Please enjoy approximately 60 pounds of steel and leather, and many hours of work.
I am not a licensed creator, so this is not for sale. That said, if you love my style and want to talk about custom fantasy armor of your own design? I’m all ears.
I haven’t been idle, I promise you. I’ve been working on a variety of projects, some personal, some commissioned, and some for sale. All three sets of leather bracers are now listed on the Store page.
All work like this, unless otherwise stated, starts as a half hide of natural colored vegetable tanned leather (usually from Weaver Leather Supply and because they have been *awesome* to deal with, they get a shout-out) which makes custom dye relatively easy to manage.
The current search for an oxblood formula has yielded a stunning deep purple that will almost certainly show up at some point…
As always, custom work is one of my favorite things. Books are currently open for custom projects. Just use the Contact tab to get started.
We’re about wrapped up for the season, though you may still catch me at a local holiday market or two- I’ll be sure to let you know as soon as I do! Remember to keep an eye on the Facebook page for the shop or my Instagram page for updates, process pictures, and some magically sarcastic fun.
If you’re not following me on Instagram, that’s where you should be! I’m most active there, and you’ll get to see all kinds of in process photos as well as finished products- plus lots of other fun things.
