New Item Reveal!

It’s finally here! Yes I’ll put pictures on Insta too for all the folks who don’t follow the blog or the FB page but here it is, finally:

The Corsair’s Baldric!

Comfortably wide and curved shoulder base to hold the weight, retaining straps to attach anything from your favorite flintlock to a potion of healing, and single and double sword frog options. The attachment between the shoulder strap and the frog is fully modular and can easily be switched from a right to left handed draw.

I am. So proud. Of this design, y’all.

It is currently available as a made-to-order via the Square store, and there will be a small selection available in person at Mythica Market and more coming for VARF. Come and find me!

Next Stop, Mythicon!

The crates are packed, the suitcases are packed, and I am so excited to get to the first show of 2024! Mythicon is what happens when a bunch of wild and wonderful musicians, artists, storytellers, and fae creatures of all sorts take over the Eisenhower and Aspire hotels in historic Gettysburg for an entire weekend. There are events around the clock and a spectacular cast of entertainers and vendors. Oh hey that includes me!

See you all there!

It…. Is… ALIVE!

The post that many of you have been waiting for is finally here! My Square Store is finally alive and accessible again and the shop is taking orders!

I have completed moving myself, my workshop, and a large dog made mostly of anxiety to a new house with new people and a lot more room for the workshop. The current estimated time to shipping is a mere 2 weeks, but that is going to change very quickly. For any and all questions, you can use the Contact page here on the website or contact me through the shop’s Facebook page.

It does feel good to be making things again.

See you soon!

I exist!

Or at least I think I do which, according to some philosophers, is the same thing.

The move is nearly complete, and the store page will be returning very soon so folks who have been waiting to get their summer season orders in, standby, it’s coming.

This year’s calendar already has a few things on it, and we’re starting the checklist for Mythicon. If you’re planning on seeing all the magic in Gettysburg this year, we’ll see you there!

Stay tuned!

Of Dragons and Other Things

Hey! Where ‘ave you been??

Well, bunch of places, actually. First, I finally achieved a years long dream and took a personally built cosplay to DragonCon. Observe.

Ivar Evil-Eye founded the Viper School of Witchers, and he’s my favorite murderous sadistic poison happy bastard in the whole world. Taking this armor to DragonCon was an amazing experience and something I think I’ll be proud of forever.

As for the rest you can find me in one of two places. I’m either in my workshop getting ready for Delaware Ren Faire (I am. SO EXCITED!!) Or I’m at Maryland RenFest running the merch cart for the one the only the absolutely amazing Paulo Garbanzo. Seriously if you’ve never gotten to watch a real jester of a real castle (no, really) entertain, you’re missing out. He and Onça are probably my favorite people I’ve ever worked for so come find me and I’ll be happy to tell you all about the cool stuff they do.

In other news, I guess it’s about time I let the rest of y’all know- I’ll be leaving the farm at the end of the year. I’ve found a place that will provide much better workshop space, several times the inventory storage, and is a much better driving distance from the biggest events on my calendar. This doesn’t mean much for most of you, but there will be a quiet period probably in January, before Mythicon (of COURSE we’re going back to that one! Wouldn’t miss it!) While I get everything arranged again. The only other change will be this: the current supply of bones will probably be the end of the bone art, since I do not work with bones that I did not source personally. When the current selection is gone, it’s gone.

Nothing lasts forever, after all.

I’m looking forward to an epic late season and a much needed fresh start in 2024. Come find me at Faire!
